Me Looking Hot (and a few other photos)

We just downloaded a new batch of pics. Here are a few of the gems:

Anna and Brixton touching up around the edges of the door frame. As you might have noticed from other pictures, Brixton and I are having a "Who has the most lopsided muscle/body fat ratio" contest. It's been neck-and-neck so far.

Brixton tested out the straps in our stroller the other day. We turned our backs for two seconds and this is what we found. If CPS ever sees this, we're dead.

We took Jack for his first tour of BYU yesterday -- can't start too early -- and he started airing it out off of the ledge by the HBLL. The kid is just hard core. If we would have toured the top of the Kimball Tower, part of me thinks he would have done the same thing.

Jack looking pimptastic in a lovely combination of stripes and plaid.

The other day Jack partied way too hard and ended up crashing mid-dinner. I was pretty amazed. I honestly don't know anyone who fights sleep better than Jack.

Jack and I borrowed a neighbor's riding lawnmower the other day. Way too much fun.

We decided to let the nut-job we keep locked in our basement out for Pioneer Day. He got a little excited when he saw the sparklers.

Life in San Diego

Hey Everyone,

Here are some more pictures of Davis. He is up to 10 lbs this week. I have already exposed him to sportscenter and now he won't go to sleep without hearing Stuart Scott's voice. ;) I am finishing my summer at a law firm called Baker & McKenzie here in San Diego. I start school next week as well as working for a District Court Judge here that has most of the patent cases in Southern California before him.

This will be my last year of law school and we are just enjoying our time in San Diego. I really enjoy school and will miss the life of a student. Things are so simple as a student, you have a flexible life, you are always learning, and the people you meet in the process really enrich life.

We recently got to see the Montague's and that was just awesome! It was also wonderful to see the Corbridge's before they left to St. Louis. I was thinking after we saw both of them that it is weird to see each others' kids and realize they don't know who you are. Especially since they are such important parts of each of your lives. So feel free to post pictures of us in their cribs/beds. :) Monty taught my sister in law some new basketball moves and drills and I was blown away! I wish I had it on tape so I could work on what he said and become a better baller. Luckily he sent an email with what he went over, as usual Monty was over the top nice. It was fun to see them and hope we can all get together soon as a big 6 group.

I put a link to Jordy's blog on the website. If you haven't already, check it out! Jordy is an excellent writer and it is interesting reading. I am pretty amazed at the insights and tips he has in his blog.

This is Davis just waiting around for BYU/college football to start again. He said he won't speak to us till the season is in full bloom.

This is Davis on his 1 month Birthday when he realized that BYU Football was less than a month away! Look at the sheer excitement!!

We don't know exactly who Davis looks like, some say Dad, some say Mom. I think he is a good mixture of both of us. But here is a picture of Davis and a baby picture of Jules to compare. There are some similarities. Jules in 3 months old and looks tanner than any baby should be.

St. Louie Bound

Welp...tomorrow morning we officially move to the great Midwest. We've sold out cars and are flying back there (shipped all of our stuff yesterday on a Pod.) We took this picture early this week after my last day in "the office." I'll be working from home in St. Louis and then doing school on Saturdays begining next year. We didn't have any idea how hard it would be to leave Sunny SoCal. Our place hasn't sold yet, but we're considering renting it out for a couple of years so we can have a foot back into this housing market.

Life is good. The next chapter awaits I guess. Now I just have to figure out how to get Comcast into the St. Louis market so I can watch more than 3 games this season.

I call dibs on the first post!

(I figured I'd get things off to a sensible and scandalous start. Sensible: A picure fo the whole crew at Joe's in Newport. Scandalous: Newman and Jordy topless in Mexico!!)

Big shout to MLBeezy for getting this bad boy set up! I'm stoked to get started.

If you don't already have one, everyone should get an RSS reader, or personalize their Google homepage so that it automatically feeds new blog posts onto your homepage. That way we don't have to send out an email every time we make a post on the site. If you have any questions about how to do this, give me a call.
